What to expect

On-Location Photography

I provide on-location photography, meaning the world is my studio!

But really, I do NOT have a studio space. I prefer natural lighting and will try to schedule your session for the best lighting possible based on your (and my) availability. I can help choose a great location or maybe you have one of your own?

How it Works

Step 01

Book your

SESSION!

Get on the books! Booking with me does not necessarily mean you have to lock in a date. I like to keep things flexible because...ya, know...life. You may not know what your schedule is going to be like a couple of months from now. I get it. But, the sooner you get on my radar the higher priority you have for open dates in the time frame you are looking for. On the other hand, if you are a planner and need a specific date locked in, let's do it!

Step 02

Plan and prepare.

Maybe you have a Pinterest board FULL of beautiful images that you'd love to re-create (in our own way). I wil do my best to make your vision become a reality.

Or, maybe you are just hoping for your whole family to be in the same place at the same time for ONE decent photo! (rant over). I'm here to help! I always come prepared with my own ideas and adjust as needed for the group I am working with.

Plan outfits, accessories, etc...

Having things ready ahead of time will reduce the stress when it comes time to get ready. Our goal is to have everyone relaxed and happy. It'll never be perfect, but it should help.

Step 03

The magic happens.

After your session, I sort and carefully edit the best images. This is where the creative magic happens. I understand the anticipation of seeing the final product but I want to make sure I take my time to get the final images looking their best. You can expect a wait of up to 2-4 weeks depending on the volume of clients at that time. If your session is in the Fall, you can expect a longer wait as this is when I have my biggest influx of clients.

Step 04

Choosing memories to treasure

The moment you've been waiting for....

Your final images are placed in a personal online gallery for you to view, share and print! You can order professional quality prints and photo products that ship right to your door! Update those pictures in the frames or order a unique wall canvas or stand out print for a new space. There's lots of options!
